Shohei Ohtani for MVP!

A true Unicorn of a baseball player continues to prove why he is the most valuable player the MLB has ever seen. Not only does the ace pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels pitch a 3.02 era with a 7-3 win-loss record and 3rd in the MLB in strikeouts. Lets not forget that Shohei Ohtani at bat is absolutely stellar. He is tied for 5th in the MLB in hits, 8th in the major league with a .309 batting average, 2nd in the MLB in runs batted in and 1st in the MLB in home runs with 28!

On June 27th 2023 for the first time in nearly 60 years an American League pitcher hit 2 home runs and 10 strikeouts in the same game, Ohtani refuses to leave any notion that he is the best player in baseball for debate. At the end of the 2023 baseball season Shohei is set to be a free agent and It seems there isn’t any amount of money you can offer Shohei that would sway his opinion on winning.

Per report Shohei is expected to sign a contract anywhere between 500-600 million dollars after his time with the Angels expires and there won’t be any team holding back offers to acquire Ohtani’s services. The recent speculation is that Ohtani will sign a contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers but there are other suitors who could persuade Ohtani into joining their team. The sense of urgency for the Angels to get a deal done couldn’t happen any sooner. The time is ticking and if the Angels plan on competing for a world series Shohei is the focal point for you’re championship run.
