Super Bowl LVII was between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles hosted at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona! It’s impressive to see both teams finish the regular season with a 14-3 record, indicating their exceptional performances throughout the season. Quarterback Jalen Hurts from the Philadelphia Eagles had an outstanding season in 2022 with over 3,700 passing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns. Patrick Mahomes from the Kansas City Chiefs also had a great season with over 5,000 passing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns.

During the game, the Eagles took a halftime lead of 24-14 as Jalen Hurts had 2 rushing touchdowns and a 45-yard touchdown pass to A.J Brown, supported by Jake Elliott’s successful field goal. However, the Chiefs struggled to score points in the first half, with only 7 total offensive points. Patrick Mahomes completed an 18-yard touchdown pass to Travis Kelce midway through the first quarter, tying the game at 7-7. Later in the second quarter, Jalen Hurts fumbled the football, and linebacker Nick Bolton recovered it for a 36-yard touchdown, tying the game at 14.

In the second half, the Chiefs stepped up and took control of the game, scoring 3 touchdowns and a field goal, ultimately winning the game 38-35. Mahomes finished the game with 182 total passing yards, completing 21 of 27 passes with 3 touchdown passes. Jalen Hurts finished with 304 total passing yards, completing 27 of 38 passes with 1 touchdown pass. Hurts tied for the most points scored by a player in a Super Bowl with a total of 20 points.
